Introducing ibis Orange Sud, a 3-star tourist hotel situated in Orange, France. This brand, though in need of some improvements, offers a convenient location for travelers looking for a short stay. The hotel provides basic amenities, but some guests have experienced discomfort due to outdated facilities and cleanliness issues. While the room may be warm and lacking in cooling capabilities, the staff at Orange Sud are commended for their friendly and efficient service during check-in, breakfast, and check-out. Guests appreciate the restaurant attached to the hotel, as well as the private car park and pool facilities. With its strategic location and satisfactory service, ibis Orange Sud is a viable option for those seeking a budget variant accommodation, albeit with certain deficiencies that should be addressed.
Reviews
The staff of the hotel is lovely. Everyone was very kind - I had a problem with my car battery and one member of the staff came back to the hotel just for me and to charge the battery. GREAT!!! …
Room was all we expected and needed, staff friendly and efficient at check-in, breakfast and check out
Restaurant attached to hotel was good too
this is a hotel outside Orange, in the commercial district (read malls). And...it's just bad. It's a "business" hotel, as they say. Bed is bad, A/C good. Breakfast..I did not dare to bother. No fridge in the room. The lady at the desk …
Outdated and dirty hotel.
AC in the room is mostly ventilation and little to no cooling. Bathroom is quite dirty and only 1 towel per guest is available.
If you're allergic to dust mites, this hotel is quite bad and will leave you itchy and sneezing.
The food at breakfast (other than the baked goods) was very stale looking with flies all over. Stay away from the smoothies!! Egg boiler turned to 80C to conserve energy, which means cracking your egg after 9minutes will leave you in a droopy mess. Silverware was dirty.
This hotel should be a budget variant, and is okay for one night due to it's location, but please consider alternatives. This one could use some work.
Hassle free reception. Good sized, clean room. Comfortable bed. Excellent powerful shower but rather small towels. Usual fare for breakfast with good range of cereals, coffees etc. Would use again if in Orange.
Stayed here driving back from Spain. A great hotel!! Private car park, it has a pool but too cold for us!!! The staff are lovely, really friendly and catered for all our needs, Ibis breakfast is 8 euros each. The room was big and the hotel was really quiet but close to the shops too for any bits or food you may need. It is right next to the military air base saw a few low planes as well. Would recommend and stay again anytime.
Kudos to the housekeeping for the extra attention for cleanliness of the room. You made our stay comfortable! And the man who came to clean the pool every morning, you took your time to clean the pool and added pool noodles on the lounge chairs and floaties! Always cheerful doing your work makes us feel welcome :)
the only minus is that the room is abit warm
On our return trip home unfortunately our car developed a fault and we stayed 2 nights in this hotel. It was very comfortable and we had a quiet room. The breakfasts were superb with plenty of choice. We ate nextdoor in the restaurant …
